(Undated) – Gas prices continued to trend up over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is hovering around $3.57, a penny higher than Friday. Here in Illinois, the price per gallon has seen a four-cent increase from Friday to $3.96 a gallon. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.65 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. Drivers in Mississippi are paying below three dollars a gallon with a statewide average of $2.94. Gas is $4.85 in California, two cents higher than Friday.
