By Tony Collins Jun 26, 2023 | 6:39 AM

(Palestine) – Farm Rescue will be back in Palestine tomorrow to help a family devastated by the March 31st tornado. The non-profit provides free planting, haying, harvesting, commodity hauling, and livestock feeding assistance to farm families who have experienced a major illness, injury, or natural disaster. Farm Rescue, with support from John Deere, will be back in Palestine to complete its milestone 1,000th assistance case. This case will bring volunteers and equipment back to the Brad Pifer farm to harvest winter wheat crops. Farm Rescue was in Crawford County following the tornado in March to assist with clean-up and planting. Farm Rescue was started in 2006 and is available in seven other states.
