(Undated) – Crawford County was spared from the worst of yesterday’s storms. While many locations in the county saw downed limbs, trees, and a few power lines the worst of the damage appears to be in Indiana. However, we could be in for more storms this weekend. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook,” from the National Weather Service, there is a chance of thunderstorms across much of central IL today and tonight. They say any storms that develop have the potential of becoming severe with damaging winds and large hail being the primary threats. Severe storms are expected on Saturday with an elevated risk for damaging winds, large hail, tornadoes, and flash flooding. A few severe storms will be possible again on Sunday. Here at the Classic Hits Studio, we have recorded just shy of two inches of rain in the last 48 hours.
