(Undated) – The rise in oil prices continues to drive gas prices higher. According to GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, with oil prices rising to the highest level in months, the national average price of gasoline saw similar upward pressure, with a little over half of the nation’s states seeing gas prices tick up last week. He says while the price increases could continue this week, he expects them to be fairly mild, with the national average likely staying in the $3.50-$3.60 range. The current national average is $3.53 a gallon. The statewide average for Illinois is $3.83 and it’s $3.51 in Indiana.
