(Undated) – We could be seeing a spike in COVID-19 cases. According to recent data released by the CDC, COVID hospitalizations have risen by more than ten percent across the country. Their latest report shows over seventy-one hundred COVID-19 patients were admitted in the week of July 15th, up from sixty-four-hundred the week before. It’s the largest percent increase in COVID hospitalizations since December. The report says COVID-19 emergency room visits also jumped in the past month. However, a CDC spokesperson adds that COVID-19 rates in the U.S. are still near historic lows.
