(Undated) – The National Weather Service has issued a “Heat Advisory.” They say very hot conditions will spread across the state bringing high temperatures in the mid to upper 90s and “feels like” temperatures in the low triple digits. Thursday and Friday we could see a heat index of 105 to 110 degrees. Brian Williamson, with the American Red Cross, says to drink lots of water, find shade or a breeze, and be aware of those who might need to be checked on during this heat wave.
The “Heat Advisory” remains in effect until 7 pm Saturday.
