(Undated) – Recent rains have helped improve “drought” conditions in Crawford County. However, according to the most recent Drought Condition Report from the National Weather Service, a large portion of the county remains “abnormally dry.” Here at the Classic Hits studio, we recorded just over four inches of total rainfall for July and about two inches during the early part of August. In 2022, we recorded a two-month total for July and August of nearly thirteen inches. The current forecast says that we will likely add to our rainfall total this weekend. There is a chance of showers through Monday. Stay tuned to Classic Hits, WTYE, for the latest weather information.
