(Lawrenceville) – The South Carolina man who was the subject of a multi-agency manhunt in Lawrenceville is behind bars. Authorities say that thirty-four-year-old Johnathan Kelly was apprehended and taken into custody Friday night in Evansville by the U.S. Marshall Regional Task Force. The Allendale, South Carolina man is facing charges of Murder, Kidnapping, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Allendale authorities say that Kelly is wanted in connection to the kidnapping and murder of Ronnie Crawford of Varnville, South Carolina. Kelly is being held in the Vanderburgh County Jail awaiting extradition back to South Carolina.
