RHS Tennis Team Falls To Effingham-St. Anthony

(Robinson) – The RHS Tennis Team lost to Effingham-Saint Anthony last night 9-2. Head Coach, Steve Jenkins, says that Annie List picked up a win in #1 singles to raise her overall record to 5-0. Avery Crocker got the other win for the Lady Maroons with a hard-fought 3-set tie-breaker match at #7 singles. Jenkins says even though they didn’t get as many match wins as they would like, overall the girls played some good tennis against one of the top teams in the area. With the loss, the girls fall to 1-1. They will be back in action on Tuesday for a road contest against Casey-Westfield.
