Newton Man Sentenced to IDOC

(Undated) – A Newton man was sentenced to five years in the IDOC during a September 25th Crawford County Court appearance. Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, says that twenty-four-year-old Zachary Stephens was sentenced to the IDOC in regards to a Class 2 Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Deliver. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the prosecution of this case.
