RHS Wins and Pal-Hut Falls Under Friday Night Lights

(Robinson) — In Friday night football action, the RHS Maroons kept their “slim” postseason hopes alive with a 35-28 win over the Newton Eagles. With the win, the Maroons make it three in a row to improve to 3-4 on the season. RHS will be back next Friday night on the road to Paris. Elsewhere last night, the Palestine/Hutsonville Pioneers have yet to find the win column falling to Metro East Lutheran 33-8. With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 0-7 on the season. They are slated to be back in action a week from today to face Schlarman.
