Oblong Chamber Gearing Up for Fall Follies

(Oblong) – The Oblong Chamber and the Village of Oblong are continuing to put the finishing touches on the upcoming Fall Follies. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, says so far they have thirty-three marching bands ready for the Fall Follies parade. They are still accepting parade entries and Fielder says if your organization, club, church, or business wants to be a part of the parade, please contact the Oblong Chamber of Commerce. The parade entry deadline is this Sunday. The 2024 Fall Follies is set for October 26th and the largest nighttime parade in Illinois will step off from the Crawford County Fairgrounds at 7 p.m.
