Robinson/Palestine Water Commission Continue Hydrant Flushing

(Undated) – The Robinson/Palestine Water Commission continues hydrant flushing. They will wrap up flushing in the Trimble and Old Kirk Water District today and tomorrow. Flushing will wrap up next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Palestine. Officials remind customers that the flushing of hydrants will temporarily cause discoloration in the water. They say while the water is safe to consume, you may want to run faucets until the discoloration disappears, especially before drinking. You are also reminded to hold off on laundry while the discoloration is present.
