Wet and Windy Weather Set to Bring Much Colder Tempratures

(Undated) – Wet and windy weather is forecast for today and tonight and colder conditions are expected to arrive this week. According to the current “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, southeasterly winds will gust as high as 40-50 mph tonight before veering to the southwest and gradually decreasing by midday tomorrow. They say a line of showers will sweep through the region tonight bringing a few thunderstorms. However, severe weather is not expected. The National Weather Service says “sharply colder” conditions will arrive later this week with wind-chill values dipping into the 20s at times from Wednesday night through Friday.
