Lady Maroons Wrestling Team Finishes 12th in Weekend Action

(Robinson) – The RHS Lady Maroons Wrestling Team finished 12th in a twenty-team meet over the weekend. The top finishers for the Lady Maroons were Anna Osborn who finished 4th, Rachel Richey got a 2nd place finish, Macee Hammond got a 4th place finish in her weight class, and Ariel Clayton got a 3rd place finish. Head Coach, Hilary Maxwell, says with a couple of first-year wrestlers there is room to grow. She says “small victories build bigger victories,” and she is excited to see the girls progress as the season continues. The Girls will be back in action on Saturday at Morris Community High School.
