IDNR Releases Firearm Deer Season Totals

(Undated) — Illinois has released preliminary totals for the Illinois firearm deer hunting season. According to the IDNR, hunters in Illinois harvested more than eighty-two thousand deer during the seven-day season that concluded December 8th. That’s compared to seventy-six thousand deer during the 2023 firearm season. Crawford County hunters harvested one-thousand one-hundred-thirty-eight deer, one-hundred-sixteen more than 2023.
