(Undated) — Illinois’ unemployment rate remains steady. The Illinois Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate was unchanged last month at five-point-three-percent. Non-farm payroll jobs were down thirty-four-hundred, based on preliminary data provided by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and released by IDES. In November, the industry sectors with the largest over-the-month job losses included Construction, Professional and Business Services, Manufacturing and Trade, Transportation, and Utilities. The industry sectors with the largest monthly payroll job increases included Leisure and Hospitality, Private Education, and Health Services.
