Lady Maroons Won in LIC Tournament Action

(Robinson) – The RHS Lady Maroons hung on for a close win Saturday in the opening round of the Girls LIC Tournament. The Lady Maroons were led in scoring by Tensley Dunlap who finished with 22 points en route to the 56-53 overtime win over Olney. The girls will be back on the hardwood in the second round contest Tuesday evening when they square off against Mt. Carmel in a 6 p.m. tipoff. Elsewhere in weekend hoops action, the OPH Wildcats cruised to a 60-48 victory over the RHS Boys Friday evening in the annual Shrine Game.
