National Average Gas Price Slips Lower

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded continues to tick lower. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.10 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.24 a gallon, unchanged from Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.10 a gallon, up ten cents from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices in the nation with an average of $2.64 a gallon. Those in California are paying the highest prices at $4.38 a gallon.
