(Undated) — Tax season is right around the corner and the Better Business Bureau is again warning about scammers posing as tax preparers. BBB Investigator, Don O’Brien, says it’s a good idea to get your taxes done as soon as you have all of your documentation together.
O’Brien also warns that some tax preparers may offer you a check or debit card rather than waiting for the IRS to mail your refund and these are typically loans, sometimes with hidden fees and interest rates.
