Gas Prices Trend Slightly Lower

(Undated) – Gas prices have fallen over the last week. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average fell to $3.11, down two cents from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen to $3.25 a gallon, down a penny from last Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average has fallen to $2.96 a gallon, down a dime from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices in the nation with an average of $2.65 a gallon. Those in California are paying the highest prices at $4.42 a gallon.
