CCSD Looking for Corrections/Court Security Officers

(Undated) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is currently taking applications for Corrections/Court Security Officers. The CCSD is looking to fill the position of Full-Time correctional/security officers. Crawford County Sheriff Bill Rutan says he or she will be a commissioned officer who will perform corrections and court security duties in Crawford County. The application deadline is March 14th by 4:00 p.m. Rutan says that applicants must be available for a one-time written testing date that will be held in Robinson at the Crawford County Forest Preserve on March 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Applications may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office, the County Clerk’s office, or can be printed from the county’s website.
