Deputies Respond to Saturday Accident on Route 33

(Undated) — Crawford County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an accident Saturday on Route 33. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, around 9:23 a.m., Daniel Thompson of Marshall was heading east on 33 near 600 East when the side-by-side he was transporting on a trailer fell from the trailer onto the roadway and was struck by Kyrie Ring of Oblong. The impact caused the airbags in her vehicle to deploy before her vehicle left the roadway and came to rest on the North side of Route 33. United Lifecare Ambulance Service arrived on the scene and evaluated Ring and her four passengers before transporting them to Crawford Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. More than fifteen-hundred dollars in damage was reported and Thompson was cited for “Spilling Load on a Highway.”
