National Average Remains Largely Unchanged

(Undated) — Despite market uncertainty, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded remains largely unchanged from a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is up a penny from a week ago at $3.11 a gallon. Here in the “Land of Lincoln,” the statewide average is $3.18 a gallon, down a penny from last Friday. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $2.87 a gallon, a penny increase from a week ago. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices nationwide with an average of $2.60 a gallon, down four cents from a week ago. Those in California are paying the highest prices in the nation at $4.76 a gallon, a seven-cent decrease from last Friday.
