Hydrant Flushing to Begin in April

(Undated) — The Robinson Palestine Water Commission has announced the schedule for hydrant flushing. They say they will begin the flushing process on April 1st and 2nd in the Northeast section of Robinson. Hydrants in the Northwest section will be flushed on April 3rd and 4th, followed by the Southeast section on April 7th and 8th, and the Southwest section of Robinson and the New Hebron area on April 9th through the 11th. Trimble and the Old Kirk districts will see flushing from April 14th through the 21st. They will wrap up in Palestine on April 22nd through the 24th. Customers are reminded that discoloration in the water will be temporary. They say that while the water is safe to consume, you may want to run faucets until the discoloration disappears and hold off on laundry while the discoloration is present.
