(Undated) — Gas prices continue to climb higher. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon, seven cents higher than a month ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.44 a gallon, a twenty-one cent increase from last month. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.13 a gallon, a twenty-two cent increase from a month ago. GasBuddy Head of Petroleum Analysis, Patrick De Haan, says the increase is driven by the final steps in the transition to summer gasoline across the country.
