Michael B. Jordan and director Ryan Coogler’s new movie, Sinners, has wowed critics in early reviews, with many lauding the supernatural period horror as one of the must-see films of the year. Below, we take a look at its integral and soul-stirring soundtrack.

The film sees Jordan take on a dual role as enterprising twins Smoke and Stack, who return to their Southern hometown to open a juke joint where local Black folks can eat, drink and dance to blues music. But on launch night, a group of travelling troubadours led by Remmick (Jack O’Connell) try to bring vocal harmonies – and something much darker – to the party.

Sinners also stars Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson, and Hailee Steinfeld, who sings one of the film’s original songs ‘Dangerous’ – her first new track in two years.
