(Undated) — Gas prices continue to trend lower as we head into the Easter Weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon, seven cents lower than Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.37 a gallon, a three-cent decline from the start of the week. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.05 a gallon, down six cents from Monday. Mississippi has the lowest average in the country at $2.68 a gallon. Meanwhile, California has the highest average at $4.81 a gallon, down a penny from Monday.
