Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in St. Louis Cardinals fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Cardinals are currently 5-6 having won four games at home and one on the road. The team’s Pythagorean record is… 5-6; they have scored 71 runs and allowed 72. They’ve already surprised me a little bit — the offense right now is top three in the league with a 133 wRC+, while the starting pitching, which surprised last season with their cromulence, has a FIP of 4.40. The bullpen looks to be another strength, and the defense and base running seem up to snuff.
The season is young and there are a lot of changes that could happen yet. Roster additions could make the team better, injuries could set them back, but overall the team looks to have the potential to be somewhat improved from a team last season that won 83 games.
So after 11 games I am curious what you think. FanDuel has set the over/under at 75.5. How many games do you think they might win?
