Lady Maroons Fall Despite Out Hitting Effingham

(Robinson) — Despite out hitting Effingham the RHS Lady Maroons fell 8-4 in Wednesday softball action. Mallory Mosbey led RHS at the dish with three hits in four at bats, including a homerun in the third inning. Ella Woodcock took the loss for Robinson out of the bullpen allowing seven runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking two in four innings of work. Eva Herman was the starter, pitching three innings of one run ball, striking out four and walking none. With the loss, the Lady Maroons fall to 10-6 on the season. They are set to be back in action today for a home game against Casey-Westfield. First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
