(Robinson) — The Robinson Police Department continues to raise money for the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver, says they are now selling T-shirts for $20 and hats for $15 to raise funds. Weaver says the T-shirts and hats are available for purchase at the Robinson Police Department Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. He says they are also able to accept straight donations. Weaver reminds the public that all proceeds and donations go to benefit the Special Olympics Illinois, and neither the department nor the city receives any monies from this effort.
