Accident Leads to Charges for Two From Florida

(Undated) — A single vehicle accident early Saturday morning led to charges for a Florida couple. According to Crawford County Sheriff Bill Rutan, deputies responded to Route 1 near County Road 800 N in LaMotte Township just after midnight. They reported that a 2002 Mitsubishi driven by a twenty-six-year-old Dominic Rossi traveling north on Route 1 left the road to the right, continuing through the ditch, missing a tree, going over a creek before striking the north embankment. Both Rossi and his passenger, forty-six-year-old Nicole Mizell, were taken to CMH. Rossi was issued a citation for Driving While License Suspended. Following an investigation, Mizell was arrested on charges of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Hypo Syringe, and Possession of other Identification Cards. She was booked into the Crawford County Jail after being cleared by the hospital.
