National Average Gas Price Slips Lower

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded drifted lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.19 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is two cents higher than Friday at $3.48. In Indiana, the statewide average has fallen a penny to $3.23 a gallon. Mississippi has the lowest statewide average at $2.64, down a penny from Friday. California has the highest price at $4.66 a gallon, down a nickel from Friday.
