(Undated) – Gas prices have ticked up in the last week. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is hovering around $3.56, a penny higher than a week ago and up four cents from the beginning of the week. Here in Illinois, the price per gallon has seen a three-cent increase from a week ago to $3.92 a gallon. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.65 a gallon, twelve cents higher than last Friday. Drivers in Mississippi are paying below three dollars a gallon with a statewide average of $2.94. The price per gallon is $4.83 in California.
