(Undated) – As we head into the weekend gas prices remain “uncertain.” According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.59, four cents higher than Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $4.02 a gallon, a penny higher than at the beginning of the week. The price at the pump in Indiana has seen an eight-cent drop from Monday to an average of $3.49 a gallon. Drivers in California are seeing the highest statewide average at $4.83 a gallon. Mississippi remains the only state in the nation with an average price below $3 with a statewide average of $2.99 a gallon.
