TOC Direct Media Founder, Mark Lange, Passes Away

(Vincennes, IN) – The founder of TOC Direct Media, the parent company of WTAY/WTYE, Mark Lange, passed away yesterday at his home in Vincennes. Lange founded “The Original Company” and launched WZDM in Vincennes, Indiana in 1988. He would go on to acquire several stations across Indiana and Illinois as part of his time as Company President, including WTAY/WTYE. He was also a retired media professor at Vincennes University’s Broadcasting Career/Technical Program. Lange was named the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s C. James McCormick Public Servant of the Year in April. Lange passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones following a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral arrangements are pending.
