(Robinson) – The Robinson Police Department is reporting numbers from their recent participation in Independence Day safety campaigns. According to Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver, during the campaign officers issued two seat belt citations, made five felony arrests, issued one citation for suspended or revoked license, seven for uninsured motorists, one speeding citation, and one reckless driving citation, and they made six drug arrests. The Robinson Police Department joined forces with more than 200 other state and local law enforcement agencies to get drunk and drugged drivers off our roads, encourage seat belt use, and enforce speeding and other traffic laws.
