Haze and Rain Dominates Our Forecast

(Undated) – Smoke from Canadian wildfires and the threat of severe weather dominate our forecast. According to the National Weather Service, not only will we see continued hazy conditions as a result of wildfires, scattered thunderstorms are possible through Wednesday. They say an “unsettled pattern” remains over the area and will bring the threat of storms through midweek. A few storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts and hail. The National Weather Service says while it is still too early to pinpoint the axis of heaviest rainfall, current projections suggest it will be along and south of a Rushville to Springfield to Robinson line.
