(Undated) – Despite the wet start to July we finished the month with below-average rainfall. National Weather Service Meteorologist, Ed Shimon, says drought conditions are starting to return close to the levels we saw in mid-June.
Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE, studio, we recorded just over four inches of rain for July, the majority of which was recorded on the 1st and the 17th, with little significant rain recorded since July 17th. WTYE continues to be an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service.
