(Undated) – Gas prices remain high as we head into the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.85 a gallon, two cents higher than Monday’s average. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is also up two cents from Monday to $4.16 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average has seen a seventeen cent jump from Monday. However, it remains below the $4 mark at $3.91 a gallon. Mississippi remains the cheapest state to fill up with a statewide average of $3.31 a gallon. Drivers in California are paying an average of $5.15.
