Oblong Park Walking Path Project Nearing Completion

(Oblong) – Despite some recent damage at the Oblong Park, the walking path project is nearing completion. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, took to social media yesterday to say thank you to Senco Construction and Stone and Waggoner Engineering. Fielder says the park walkway is completed so those walking can make it all the way around without barricades. However, the lighting is not quite finished, but is very close to being done and sod work will be next. The project was made possible by an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development grant from the IDNR.
