OHS Volleyball Team are Regional Champions

(Oblong) – The Oblong Lady Panthers are Regional Champions. The OHS Volleyball Team needed three sets but picked up the win over Casey-Westfield last night 21-25, 25-21, 26-24. Layla Krick and Ella Jenkins led the Lady Panthers with 10 kills each. Krick finished with 4 aces and 23 digs. Head Coach, Pam Johnson, says this marks the first time the Lady Panthers have won the Regional Championship since 1992-1993. Johnson says “determination” is the word that describes this team. The Lady Panthers will face Heyworth on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Tuscola in Sectional Semifinal action.
