(Undated) – The State of Illinois has officially approved the expansion of the Robinson/Crawford County Enterprise Zone. The Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity approved the application and certified the Ordinances that expand the zone boundaries by adding Stoy, Palestine, Oblong, and Hutsonville to the Robinson/Crawford County Enterprise Zone. County Board Chairman, Bill Burke, says there will be a series of meetings to finalize all of the paperwork. Burke says while this is a “work in progress, it is in a positive direction.”
